Humans and religion have been intertwined forever because human beings have always looked up to a Supreme Being in whom they have had complete faith, and this faith has helped them survive and live life in a meaningful way. While in ancient times it started with beliefs in spirits and ancestors, and how they worked in different ways to protect the people, it gave way for gods and goddesses, who needed to be pleased to keep the people safe and guided towards the rights path.
